Two-storey contemporary home in a highly desirable area of Inverness
This delightful modern property was constructed in 2020 and forms part of a newer residential estate in Milton of Leys, one of the most popular areas of Inverness. It benefits from higher than average Energy Efficiency and Environmental Impact Ratings of Band B.
Approaching the house, the surrounding area is clean and enjoys wide open spaces, lending an air of luxury and privacy. Entering through a dark blue door, the hallway is roomy and shows off the colourful and well-designed rooms beyond.
The first room is the kitchen, decorated in uplifting blues and cheerful tiles in the splash areas. These complement and offset the stainless-steel oven, hob, and plentiful wall and floor cabinets. The large kitchen faces the front, allowing a good view of the local area.
A cosy cloakroom, painted in red tones, sits between the kitchen and living room and has a WC and wash hand basin and flooring that echoes designs elsewhere in the house, giving a sense of cohesiveness.
The living room features a large glazed patio window leading to the garden. The living room is well-lit by natural light and has space to include dining furniture, which is especially handy given its location close to the patio, offering a good space for indoor and outdoor living.
Upstairs are three bedrooms; the smallest room is strikingly decorated in dark blue, which is very much on point at the moment. This space is currently used as an office. The adjoining bedroom is a pretty colour scheme of turquoise and is partly finished in delightful and eye-catching floral wallcovering. This room benefits from a built-in mirrored wardrobe.
The turquoise theme continues into the principal bedroom with a view of the surrounding area and beyond Inverness. This room has an intriguing footprint and a built-in mirrored wardrobe.
The bathroom contains a bath with a shower over, WC and wash hand basin, and is finished with a blue wall which complements taupe-coloured tiles, a palette found elsewhere in the property.
At the rear of the house, the garden is fenced with timber and has decking and lawn. It also features a timber shed and a gate. There is paved parking nearby.
This is a lovely and attractive family home, which has been decorated with individual taste and echoes many styles that are popular at the moment. At 82 m2, 6 Northview Green is well laid out, and with its excellent EPC ratings, great location and good condition, this is a comfortable property that offers tremendous potential.
About Inverness
Inverness is a beautiful city on the mouth of the River Ness. Surrounded by hills, it offers stunning views of mountains and historical architecture. The University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness campus, which opened in 2015, is set to ensure that the city has the talent required to serve the needs of the Highlands for many years to come. The city annually plays host to the Baxter’s Loch Ness Marathon and the Inverness Half Marathon & 5k. There are excellent sports facilities in the city, including the Inverness Ice Centre, Highland Rugby Club, Inverness Harriers Amateur Athletics Club, hosted by Inverness Leisure which also offers a sports club, gym and swimming pool complex. Other outdoor pursuits such as cycling, horse riding, kayaking, sailing and hiking are also well catered for. There are two cinemas and the Eden Court Theatre offers an excellent choice of drama, comedy and a variety of other shows, arts and crafts.
