Constructed in 2020, this immaculate semi-detached house is clearly well cared for and beautifully decorated. The property also benefits from a hybrid gas/air source heating system giving an Energy Performance Certificate at band B. Located less than a kilometre from the Moray Firth and close to established woodland, 107 Burnside is in the tranquil Lochloy area of Nairn.
The paved drive and small lawn area create a tidy frontage to the house, and its dark roof, windows and door lend an elegant contemporary edge to the design. The entrance hall, decorated in greys with timber finishes. The well-designed spaces throughout the property have been arranged to maximise available light, accentuated by large windows and white woodwork used throughout the interior, including a comfortable living room with clean lines and a large window overlooking the front of the house. The hallway features a sweeping white timber staircase with a small cupboard below. A large shower room tiled in natural stone colours is also accessible from the hall. The fabulous contemporary kitchen/dining room has been decorated in greys, with accents of soft greens giving each space a fresh and welcoming look. The L-shaped kitchen has several floor, wall and drawer units in an attractive white finish with stainless steel details that echo the integrated appliances. The dining area is comfortable and located next to the patio windows, offering an ideal place for indoor-outdoor dining. This sunny space makes it ideal for enjoying cooking and entertaining.
The unique sweeping staircase leads to an interestingly shaped landing with three generously sized bedrooms, each well-decorated. The principal bedroom has a view over the front of the house and has a mirrored built-in wardrobe. It is painted in soft greys to fit the style of the rest of the property. The two smaller bedrooms are charming and spacious, with the larger one decorated to suit the current occupant. Each room has a view of the garden and carpeting to match the rest of the first floor. The smaller bedroom is also generously proportioned and could equally be used as a home office or games room.
The elegant family bathroom has been impeccably decorated in natural stone-coloured tiling, with a dark vanity unit, white sanitary ware and a bath with a shower over.
The fully enclosed timber-fenced garden has a paved patio, a small shed, and an area of lawn, making this a safe and playful space for children. With generous proportions and natural materials, there is plenty of scope for the new owners to add features such as borders and areas of shrubbery. With its fabulous location next to country lanes, woodland, and the centre of Nairn, along with nearby schools, public transport and a newly designed children’s play area, 107 Burnside is a beautiful, energy-efficient, stylish property that will make a wonderful home for a growing family.
