This beautiful home makes a real impression from the first step over the threshold. Maintained immaculately and designed beautifully, this fabulous property, with its stylish decor and high standard of finish, is in walk-in condition. Constructed in 1975, the house certainly does not carry the usual patina of five decades of use. Indeed, the standard of finish and evidence of quality care and maintenance makes it easy to believe this property is a much more recent build. Centrally heated and double-glazed, 11 Wyvis Drive also has a better-than-average energy rating.
The timber-clad facia opens straight onto an open-plan contemporary hallway and kitchen. Its sleek white-fronted cabinetry and superior fittings complement the stainless-steel appliances and light fittings very well, creating a welcoming hub.
The large living room is filled with light thanks to one wall being fitted with floor to ceiling glazed windows and patio doors that overlook the garden. A cast iron wood-burner is set into a deep hearth, finished with a timber mantle that offsets the aesthetic of the decor well.
A carpeted staircase leads to the first floor where there are views across the other residences and the large green area that is just to the side of the property.
The three generously sized bedrooms are also immaculately decorated but each retain their own character. The master bedroom overlooks the garden and patio and is tastefully finished in neutral tones and plaids. There are two other bedrooms that are again thoughtfully designed and they both have room for double beds and feature built-in wardrobes.
There is a comfortable tiled bathroom, with neutral tiles and white sanitaryware. The bath with electric shower over, wash-hand basin and WC are comfortably sized and make best effect of the shape and scale of the bathroom.
Accessed via the kitchen or from the driveway, there is a practical side passage that has a timber store, a shed and space for bins. To the rear of the property and accessible through the living room, is a fenced and neatly laid out large area of lawn, flagged patio, and shrubbery and borders. With off-street parking, central heating, a high standards of care and decor and a lower than average energy rating, 11 Wyvis Drive is a fabulous property that is a credit to its popular and desirable part of Nairn.
